NAC approached RCCGD to build them a video training website with an accompanying questionnaire. They also required a printable PDF certificate after a successful completion of the training program. After talking to them and acquiring the assets for this project, I drafted the following solutions for them.
The video was provided by NAC and re-encoded as a Flash video. I’ve added the two buttons at the bottom of the video player: replay video and start test and get certificate. The button to start the test is readily available, in case the user feels the need to skip the video.
To start the test, you will need to fill out the required fields: your name and e-mail address. The entire test consists of multiple choice questions.
Upon submitting your answers, the test adds up your score. In order to pass the test, you need to acquire 80% of the correct answers. If you’re unsuccessful, you’ll be given the option to replay the video or re-start the test. When successful, a printable/downloadable PDF certificate is generated with your name on it. This is a temporary certificate and is only redeemable by NAC employees. They also have an employment section should you wish to apply for a position with NAC.
